Khaberni - The White House said on Tuesday that President Donald Trump is considering a number of ideas to acquire Greenland from Denmark, and that the use of the U.S. military "remains on the table".
White House spokesperson Carolynn Levitt stated in a release to the agency, "President Trump has made it clear that acquiring Greenland is a priority for the national security of the United States, and it is essential for deterring our adversaries in the Arctic region."
She added, "The President and his team are exploring several options to move forward towards achieving this important foreign policy goal, and of course, the use of the U.S. military remains an option for the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces."
