Khaberni - The Kuwaiti Criminal Court sentenced two drug dealers - of Indian nationality - to death after they were caught in the areas of Kiefan and Shuwaikh with 14 kilograms of heroin and 8 kilograms of methamphetamine in their possession.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior announced that, as part of its ongoing efforts to tackle the drug menace and to dry up its sources, the Criminal Security sector represented by the General Administration for Drug Control, under the supervision and field follow-up of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef, managed to deliver a qualitative security strike to an international criminal network operating from abroad, seizing large quantities of drugs prepared for trafficking within the country.
The detailed investigations and monitoring led to the capture of the Indian nationals in the residential Shuwaikh and Kiefan areas “belonging to the international drug trafficking network,” where 14 kilograms of pure heroin and 8 kilograms of methamphetamine were found in their possession, in addition to two electronic scales.
