Khaberni - As part of Amman Arab University's commitment to enhancing the values of volunteer work and community responsibility, and instilling a culture of teamwork among students, the College of Arts and Sciences, in cooperation with the Dean of Student Affairs at the university, organized a volunteer initiative to clean Amman Arab University mosque for students of the Volunteer Work and Community Development course, supervised by Dr. Lina Al-Jarah, a faculty member at the College of Arts and Sciences in the university.
The initiative saw active participation from the students of the Volunteer Work and Community Development course, as they carried out cleaning activities for the mosque and its facilities, and organized them in an atmosphere characterized by cooperation, enthusiasm, and teamwork, reflecting the positive role of youth in community service. The initiative aimed to instill a culture of teamwork among students, enhance their awareness of the importance of maintaining cleanliness in houses of worship, and encourage them to engage in volunteer activities that contribute to developing a sense of belonging and responsibility.
At the conclusion of the initiative, Dr. Al-Jarah praised the students' efforts and their outstanding interaction, emphasizing the importance of continuing such initiatives that contribute to building a conscious and socially active student character. Meanwhile, the Dean of Student Affairs at Amman Arab University, which plays a pivotal role in caring for students and supporting extracurricular activities, reiterated its continuous support for meaningful initiatives that enhance the values of volunteer work and community responsibility, and contribute to preparing active students capable of serving their community.
