Khaberni - Egyptian artist Ahmed Mekky has officially filed a report against his business manager due to financial disputes that emerged between them during the past period, according to local media reports.
According to the details, Giza Security Directorate received a complaint from the artist's lawyer, stating that his client was harmed by his former business manager after she refused to hand over the account statements and financial budgets for the period she worked with him, despite managing all his financial transactions, including artistic contracts and commercial advertisements.
The complaint clarified that the artist had warned his business manager about terminating their contractual relationship, however, she refused to hand over the financial documents or inform him about the details of the revenues and expenses, which pushed him to resort to the law to protect his rights according to the same sources.
On her part, the artist’s business manager commented on the circulated news, confirming in media statements that she knows nothing about the report or the details of the crisis, noting that she has not yet received any official notification, and asked to refer back to the artist himself to learn the truth of what happened.
Security sources informed that the report was filed at the Agouza police station, where the incident was recorded and referred to the public prosecutor's office, which started the investigations to understand the details of the dispute and to make the appropriate legal decision.
In a separate context, Ahmed Mekky participated in the last Ramadan drama season through the series "Algawi", consisting of 15 episodes alongside a number of stars, while he has decided to be absent from the upcoming Ramadan season as he is busy preparing for a new cinematic work, returning to the movie screen after an absence of more than 12 years.
