Khaberni - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Monday that Israel would not allow Iran to rebuild its ballistic program, following a similar threat issued by US President Donald Trump.
Netanyahu told members of the Israeli parliament, "We will not allow Iran to rebuild its ballistic missile program."
He added that Iran would face "severe consequences" if it attacked Israel.
Iran had accused Israel on Monday of seeking to "undermine its national unity" following statements by Benjamin Netanyahu expressing solidarity "with the Iranian people’s aspirations for freedom" as Iran experiences protests.
The spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Ismail Baqa'i, said "the regime (...) is determined to exploit any opportunity to create division and undermine our national unity, and we must remain vigilant."
