Khaberni - The Washington Post and several American media outlets reported that the trial of former Venezuelan President, Nicolas Maduro, will be held tomorrow in a New York City court at 5:00 PM GMT.
Maduro has been deposited in one of the main federal prisons in New York City after arriving at Stewart Airport inside a military base north of the city, amid tight security measures and accompanied by FBI agents, according to consistent reports.
According to these reports, Maduro was held in a special cell within the prison, which is described as one of the most secure in terms of security procedures, consisting of closed concrete blocks and even lacks a yard for prisoners.
This infamous prison, often where suspects are held pending trial, is the facility where cases like Maduro’s are considered in the Southern District Court of New York, the court handling Maduro’s case.
