Khaberni - Monitoring - Barcelona achieved an exciting victory over its rival Real Madrid with a score of 105-100 in the basketball Clasico, during the 14th round of the Spanish League (Liga Endesa), breaking a streak of 9 consecutive defeats against the royal team.
The Argentine player Nicolás Laprovittola was notably brilliant, scoring 19 points with 9 decisive assists and an evaluation of 27, leading the Catalan team to victory, supported by Kevin Punter who also scored 19 points. Barcelona clinched the game thanks to their high precision from beyond the arc (14 three-pointers out of 25 attempts).
Despite a strong performance by Facundo Campazzo who scored 15 points with 5 decisive assists, and Gabriel Deck who added 7 points, Real Madrid could not avoid its first home loss of the season in the league.
With this victory, Barcelona ended a losing streak that lasted since April 2024, and coach Xavi Pascual continued his unbeaten run since his return two months ago, while Real Madrid temporarily lost its solo lead.
The clash between the two teams is set to renew in the EuroLeague (EuroLeague) at the same venue, on January 16th of this current month.
