Revealing the Details of the Sanad App Update on Sunday

Khaberni - The Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship will reveal on Sunday the details of the updates made to the government Sanad app linked to the advancement of official services, where about 2 million digital identities including Jordanians and residents have been activated.

The details will be disclosed by the Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Sami Samirat, to discuss the updates of the Sanad app.

Samirat stated in December 2025 that work is ongoing on updating the "Sanad" government services app, noting that access to the app will become easier, and that it is being developed by a Jordanian team.

Samirat clarified at the time that work is actively ongoing to update the app, and a trial version has been uploaded, aimed at speeding up services.

By the end of 2025, the ministry announced the digitization of 80% of government services, which equals 1920 services, while about two million digital identities were activated through the Sanad government app.

The government launched the "Sanad" app in February 2020 as part of the executive package 5 of the governmental economic program, to support "digital services, and improve the business environment", and subsequently, several updates were made to the app to overcome issues faced at the start of its operation.
