Khaberni - British media have confirmed that Chelsea Football Club has received a final response regarding its efforts to contract a coach to lead the team in the coming period.
The Mirror newspaper mentioned that the London club continues its frantic search for a new coach after the decision to fire Enzo Mariska on the first day of the new year, amid a state of technical instability and increasing speculation about the identity of the man who will lead the team in the next stage.
It was clarified: "Despite the circulation of many names, Zinedine Zidane seems completely out of the picture, for reasons he himself revealed earlier."
It added: "Chelsea management ended its relationship with Mariska days after the escalation of pressure, initiating a temporary transitional phase led by the Under-21 team coach Callum McFarlane, who will oversee the first team in the upcoming Premier League match against Manchester City, while the management continues its search for a permanent option to restore stability to Stamford Bridge."
It continued: "In recent hours, several names were proposed as potential candidates, among them Cesc Fabregas, John Terry, and Roberto De Zerbi, yet the evidence suggests that these options are not seriously considered within the club's corridors."
Conversely, the name of Strasbourg coach Liam Rosenior emerged as one of the names closely monitored by the management."
It went on to say: "Zinedine Zidane, despite his storied history and constant association with top positions, seems unlikely to come to the English league. The French coach, who has been unemployed since leaving Real Madrid in 2021, has openly expressed his reservations about working in England, pointing out that the language barrier poses a real obstacle to this step."
It concluded: "Zidane has previously stated that he understands English but does not master it sufficiently, which makes him unenthusiastic about the idea of embarking on a coaching experience in the Premier League, whether with Chelsea or other clubs he has been linked with like Manchester United. This stance effectively closes the door to any speculations linking him with a coaching role in London."
