Details of Rainfall Amounts in Jordan Tonight

Khaberni - The Director of Meteorology, Raed Rafeed Al Khattab, stated that the prevailing weather conditions contributed to recording varying amounts of rainfall at several monitoring stations of the administration until 9 PM tonight.
Al Khattab explained that the area of Deir Alla in the central Jordan Valley, within the Balqa governorate, recorded the highest rainfall amount of 28.5 mm, followed by the Ras Mitef/Ajloun area with 26.9 mm, and then the Sama area in Irbid governorate, which recorded 25.6 mm.
He added that the city of Irbid recorded 21 mm of rain; meanwhile, Baqoura/Northern Jordan Valley recorded about 15 mm, Wadi Rayan 9.2 mm, Salt 8.5 mm, Jerash 4 mm, and Ramtha 2.5 mm, while Jebiha in the capital recorded 2 mm.
The Director of Meteorology pointed out that meteorological staff continue to monitor weather developments around the clock, urging the public to exercise caution, especially in low-lying areas and watercourses, and to follow the bulletins and updates issued by the Meteorological Department promptly.
