Khaberni - Weather monitoring stations under the Meteorological Department recorded varied intensities of rainfall during the past few hours, with Sama station topping the list with the highest amount at 14.4 mm, amid a continuing impact of an unstable weather condition in the kingdom.
According to the Meteorological Department, Irbid station recorded a rainfall amount of 9 mm, followed by Ras Munif/Ajloun station at 8.1 mm, while Baqoura station recorded 6.5 mm of rain, and Wadi Al-Rayan station recorded 5.8 mm.
Lower amounts were recorded at several other stations, where Deir Alla station received 2.5 mm, and As-Salt station received 2.2 mm.
The Meteorological Department confirmed that the rainfall is still ongoing, and it is expected to gradually extend to include areas in central and southwestern parts of the kingdom, noting that it continuously monitors the weather condition and provides updates round-the-clock.
The Meteorological Department has urged taking utmost caution and care in areas experiencing rainfall and to seriously adhere to issued warnings to ensure public safety.
