Khaberni - The Public Security Directorate revealed a 6.8% decrease in the fatality rates from traffic accidents in 2025 compared to 2024, within its efforts in traffic safety that resulted in a comprehensive traffic strategy implemented by specialized departments.
The Directorate affirmed that it has intensified its field and supervisory efforts to reduce accidents and enhanced awareness programs, with about 9,000 awareness lectures held and 300 training courses conducted, in addition to launching campaigns and initiatives aimed at raising traffic awareness among various segments of the community.
The Public Security Directorate, in a comprehensive statement, outlined a summary of the most prominent achievements of its various units and formations during the year 2025, in security, humanitarian, and community fields, confirming its ongoing commitment to perform its national duty to protect security and stability, and to provide services to citizens and residents efficiently and competently.
