Khaberni - The Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry in the Greater Amman Municipality worked during 2025 on the rehabilitation of four parks and three gardens, as part of a series of achievements to develop green infrastructure and enhance environmental services in various areas of the capital.
It also established a new park in the Shmeisani area, and a garden in the Ahad area, to serve as a leisure space for local residents by providing safe areas for citizens to spend their leisure time and engage in recreational activities.
It worked on increasing afforestation campaigns and expanding green areas by planting 1500 dunams with a total of 120,000 seedlings in various areas of the capital Amman to address climate challenges and improve the aesthetic appearance.
It dealt with 4100 electronic complaints related to tree trimming services, whether they affected public safety or the electricity network, to ensure the protection of lives and property and maintain the continuity of vital services in the capital.
