Khaberni - Within the series of activities and events carried out by the Faculty of Architecture and Design at Zaytoonah University of Jordan, and in the framework of enhancing academic cooperation among the different colleges, a joint cooperative activity was organized between the Fashion Design department at the Faculty of Architecture and Design and the College of Nursing, aimed at raising the health awareness of students on the importance of public safety and first aid, and linking theoretical knowledge with practical application.
The activity included a series of interactive events, during which faculty members and nursing students provided practical explanations about the principles of first aid, and proper mechanisms for dealing with emergency situations, in addition to methods of prevention and public safety in educational and work environments.
Fashion Design students also participated by employing their creative skills in presenting innovative awareness designs and ideas, which helped in delivering health messages in a visually attractive manner that enhances students' understanding of the importance of health and preventive culture.
This activity underscores the importance of integration among different disciplines in building a comprehensive community health awareness, and enhances the role of the university in spreading health and preventive culture among students. The activity received positive interaction from the participants, who emphasized the importance of such initiatives in honing their academic and practical experiences, and providing a safe and supportive educational environment for creative and applied work.
