Khaberni - Amman Chamber of Commerce executed a comprehensive field evacuation exercise today, Wednesday, titled "Evacuation Exercise – Emergency Incidents", in collaboration with the Central Amman Civil Defense Directorate.
According to a statement from the chamber today, the exercise was conducted in response to the requirements of the chamber's approved emergency and evacuation plan by the Central Amman Civil Defense Directorate.
Chamber President Khalil Al-Hajj Tawfiq emphasized that conducting this exercise is part of establishing a culture of public safety and enhancing institutional readiness in facing emergency situations, noting that practical training on evacuation procedures raises awareness and discipline among employees and enhances their ability to properly deal with various emergency conditions according to the highest approved standards.
Al-Hajj Tawfiq expressed his great appreciation for the Civil Defense Directorate and its staff for their professional and educational efforts during the execution of the exercise, confirming that the ongoing partnership and cooperation between the chamber and the relevant authorities are fundamental factors in developing the safety system and preventive measures within the chamber's building.
He added that these field exercises contribute to building operational readiness among the chamber's employees, instilling a commitment to systematically and sustainably apply safety and evacuation requirements, and enabling them to efficiently handle various emergency scenarios.
The exercise witnessed a realistic simulation of emergency scenarios, including the execution of a precise evacuation plan for all chamber staff, under the supervision of the chamber's public safety team, which received special training for this purpose.
