Khaberni - Abu Dhabi Police have adopted a security plan to secure the New Year’s Eve celebrations for the new year 2026 in all areas of the Abu Dhabi Emirate, in cooperation with strategic partners, ensuring smooth traffic flow, and alleviating traffic congestions.
Brigadier Mohammed Dahi Al Humairi, Director of Central Operations Sector, clarified that Abu Dhabi Police prepared a joint security plan to secure the tourist areas, shopping centers, and traffic movement during the New Year’s celebrations, ensuring the safety and security of the public.
The Traffic and Patrols Directorate at the Central Operations Sector confirmed its readiness to enhance road safety by taking necessary precautions and measures, urging road users to pay attention, adhere to traffic laws and speed limits, avoid using phones while driving, maintain a safe distance between vehicles, and warned against uncivilized practices, such as using sprays (party spray) and reckless driving and noise.
It called for adherence to guidelines and tips aimed at providing protection and safety, preparing the atmosphere for successful events and activities, and achieving happiness for the public during the celebrations welcoming the new year, reflecting a positive image of the country.
The Command and Control Center in the Operations Department at the Central Operations Sector completed its preparations for New Year's Eve and the new year, and said Colonel Ali Muftah Al Aryan, Director of Operations at the Central Operations Sector, said that Abu Dhabi Police provided the best equipment, technologies, and qualified personnel in the “Operations Room”, calling on community members not to hesitate to contact the Central Operations Room in emergencies, by calling 999 around the clock.
