Khaberni - The Traffic Management confirmed that more than 1.5 million vehicles underwent a technical inspection for the winter campaign, noting that 90% of these vehicles successfully passed the inspection.
The Traffic Management stated that the vehicle inspection campaign is a responsibility and awareness, not just a technical check, but a humanitarian message to protect lives.
Since November, the Public Security Directorate, represented by the Traffic Management, External Patrols, and the Royal Environmental Protection Administration, in collaboration with delegates from the Maintenance Management, has implemented a preventive vehicle inspection campaign. During this campaign, a sticker is placed on the windshield of the vehicles that pass the technical inspection and are not inspected again. A notice (without a violation) is issued for a week as a grace period to complete the safety-related deficiencies for vehicles that do not pass the inspection. Those who receive a notice must complete these deficiencies and consult any of the licensing, traffic, or external patrols departments to pass the inspection.
