Khaberni - Former Deputy Prime Minister of Kuwait and former CEO of Zain Group, Dr. Saad Al Barrak, gave a lecture titled: "Entrepreneurship and Success Stories in Our Arab World," attended by the Vice President of the University, Professor Dr. Ahmad Al Lozi, Dean of the Business School Dr. Rania Al Zamat, and deans, and a group of students.
In his speech, he emphasized the importance of an enabling environment provided by countries capable of achieving excellence, indicating that Jordan's sports excellence reflects the same foundations for success in economic and technological fields, which requires a comprehensive value and cultural system based on strategic planning and continuous learning.
Dr. Al Barrak also highlighted that strategic partnerships with Jordan have contributed to providing Zain with distinguished national talents that have enhanced its spread and impact at the regional and international levels.
He pointed out that the biggest challenges facing startups lie in confronting failure, as statistics show that about 80% of them flounder within the first five years due to limited management experience, weak corporate culture, and insufficient financial support.
Furthermore, Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al Din, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, met with Dr. Saad Al Barrak, emphasizing the importance of exchanging knowledge as a fundamental pillar for the development of the education system, noting that investing in the energy of youth constitutes the cornerstone of any genuine renaissance project, through building effective partnerships capable of aligning educational outputs with the requirements of the job market with its rapid transformations.
