Hundreds of Displaced Tents Flooded in Gaza Strip as Weather Low Intensifies

Khaberni - Rain flooded the displaced tents in Gaza City, and winds destroyed hundreds more, as the weather low that strikes the area continues, amid a lack of resources, and absence of protection from cold and rain.

The humanitarian disaster in the Gaza Strip worsens as it is hit by a severe weather low accompanied by heavy rain and strong winds, amid total inability to provide protection, and relief capabilities, forcing the displaced to spend their night yesterday, as is their situation in every weather low, under the harsh cold, and winds that tore what remained of their worn-out tents, making them unfit to protect their inhabitants in such conditions.

The displaced face harsh conditions amidst severe cold and strong winds, as thousands live in tents made of nylon and thin fabric, lacking the minimum essentials of protection from rain and storms, where most reside in roadsides, playgrounds, public squares, and schools, without any means to protect them from the cold and storms.

The absence of fuel exacerbates the crisis, as families find themselves unable to secure any means of heating amid night temperature drops, which negatively affects many children, where a number of them have been recorded deceased.
