Specifications and Price of Xiaomi 17 Ultra Phone

Khaberni - Xiaomi launched its new phone Xiaomi 17 Ultra in China on Thursday, the latest model in its flagship phone series. This phone comes as a successor to the Xiaomi 1 Ultra, which was unveiled earlier this year.

The new Xiaomi 17 Ultra offers several improvements over its predecessor, including battery, processor, performance, and cameras.

Xiaomi 17 Ultra is powered by an eight-core "Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5" processor, manufactured with 3nm technology by Qualcomm, according to several local reports.

The phone features a triple rear camera from the German company Leica, including a main camera with a resolution of 50 megapixels. This is accompanied by a periscopic optical zoom unit with a resolution of 200 megapixels and an ultrawide camera at 50 megapixels.

The phone comes with a "M10 AMOLED LTPO" screen measuring 6.9 inches, with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, and a resolution of 2608 × 1200 pixels. The screen is protected by Xiaomi's "Dragon Crystal Glass 3.0".

The phone includes a 50 megapixel front camera and an in-screen fingerprint scanner with ultrasonic technology.

Xiaomi equipped the 17 Ultra with a silicon-carbon battery with a capacity of 6,800 milliampere-hours, supporting 90 watts wired charging, 50 watts wireless charging, and 22.5 watts reverse wired charging.

Leica edition
There is another version of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, the "Leica edition," which shares the same basic specifications, but features additional extras, including a mechanical zoom/focus ring that allows users to adjust the focus length and white balance.

This version features a dual-tone design inspired by Leica's "M" series cameras, in addition to a notched engraving on the frame and a red Leica logo on the back.

The Leica edition also features special "Leica Moment" modes with a 3:2 aspect ratio, along with a dedicated chip for security and encryption, and support for communication via two satellites.

This edition is packaged in a special box that includes a lens cover, a hanging strap, a magnetic case, and a cleaning cloth.

Price
The 17 Ultra phone will be available in black and creamy white colors. Both editions will be on sale in China starting December 27 through Xiaomi's official online store.
