Assala shines in her concert in Kuwait with an iconic accessory inspired by Umm Kulthum

Khaberni - Assala Nasri held a musical concert on the stage of the National Theater in Kuwait, on Friday December 26th (December) 2025, as part of the "Lifetime night" events held in celebration of the national holidays, and the concert was met with a dense attendance and extensive interaction from the audience.

During the concert, Assala presented a collection of her old and new works, moving between the stages of her artistic career, and she added touches of Kuwaiti heritage to the evening.

A noticeable aesthetic touch was highlighted during the concert, represented by the necklace worn by Assala, as its design was very similar to the famous necklace worn by "Planet of the East" Umm Kulthum in 1971.

The original necklace of Umm Kulthum consisted of 1888 natural pearl beads arranged in eight rows, decorated with a colored frame combining green and red, and mimicking the design of traditional Indian necklaces known as "Satlada."

This symbolic piece, currently displayed in the Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum, represents a cultural and artistic legacy that embodies the status of Gulf pearls and the importance of trade in the region.

For her part, Assala wore a similar design consisting of only 7 rows, with colored separators and natural pearl beads, adding a touch of modernity to the original classic royal necklace.

In a related context, Assala had shared photos from the evening on her official accounts, expressing her happiness to sing in Kuwait and the high interaction from the attendees, confirming that their enthusiasm gave her a feeling of joyous childhood as if she was experiencing the holiday atmosphere.
