Amman Industry 13 Companies Benefit from Consultation Services for the Empowerment Project in its First Round

Khaberni - The Amman Chamber of Industry organized a signing ceremony for the contracts of the first round of the consultancy services program within the framework of the project "Empowering Small and Medium Industries through Fourth Industrial Revolution Technologies", where the organization of the consultancy services program is within the framework of joint cooperation between the Amman Chamber of Industry, the InJo4.0 Center for the Future Mastery of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the Jordanian Foundation for Economic Projects Development (JEDCO) and the Innovative Pathways to Private Sector Employment Support Program (I-PSD), with support from the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) through German International Cooperation (GIZ).
Board member of the Amman Chamber of Industry, Engineer Majdi Al-Hishlamon, explained during the opening of the signing ceremony that the consultancy services program was designed to enhance the competitiveness of the Jordanian industrial sector by directly supporting industrial companies towards digital transformation and adopting solutions and applications of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and added Al-Hishlamon that the program is the first of its kind in evaluating the readiness of companies for digital transformation using internationally accredited assessment tools, which allows for the preparation of an integrated roadmap for each industrial company covering technical priorities and transformation requirements, economic feasibility assessment and in accordance with the reality of each company and its needs and contributes to improving operational efficiency and reducing costs in addition to enhancing innovation. Engineer Samir Al-Ayasrah, director of the InJo4.0 Center for the Future Mastery of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, emphasized the importance of digital transformation in enhancing the competitiveness and productivity of the industrial sector by keeping up with the latest developments in the field of solutions and applications of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
The ceremony witnessed the signing of contracts with (13) industrial companies that were selected on a competitive basis by an evaluation committee formed for this purpose, and the ceremony included a presentation by the InJo4.0 Center for the Future Mastery of the Fourth Industrial Revolution about the field evaluation methodology for the readiness of industrial companies and the stages of implementation of the consultancy services aimed at maximizing the benefits of the services provided.
It is worth mentioning that the project "Empowering Small and Medium Industries through Fourth Industrial Revolution Technologies" comes within the framework of contributing to achieving the targets of the economic modernization vision, through supporting the digital transformation of the industry, creating quality job opportunities, and building a more efficient, flexible, and sustainable industrial sector.
