Khaberni - The death of one of the workers in the backstage of the Turkish series "Your Eyes Like the Black Sea" (Gözleri Karadeniz), which ended its airing on ATV on December 16, has led to widespread controversy following provocative statements by the star Karam Arzlan Oğlu.
Karam said in a video he posted on his social media accounts that the death of Ahmed Amin Yavuk, a production employee in the series, was not just an "accident" as the media reported, but was the result of a violent physical assault inside the hotel room he was staying in.
The young artist pointed out that Yavuk was with a colleague who had a previous disagreement with other people, and that this colleague went to confront these people, while Yavuk tried to intervene to separate the dispute and calm the situation.
When Yavuk was unable to control the situation, he called the production coordinator for help, and when the team arrived at the scene, Yavuk was found in critical condition after being beaten.
According to Arzlan Oğlu's statements, Yavuk remained in a coma for a full week before he passed away, emphasizing that the news circulated about his fall or accidental injury does not reflect the truth.
The Turkish star insisted on the necessity to not conceal the incident, urging for it to be investigated with complete transparency, calling on the judicial and security authorities to thoroughly and rigorously follow up on the investigations.
Arzlan Oğlu concluded his remarks by saying: "The death of a person after being assaulted inside a hotel room cannot be accepted," implying that the case deserves urgent attention from everyone, amid expectations of a comprehensive investigation to uncover all the circumstances surrounding the incident.
He also noted that the series was suddenly and strangely ended, linking that to what happened in the backstage towards the victim Ahmed Amin Yavuk.
