WSJ US Business Owner Grants Employees 240 Million in Bonuses

Khaberni - The Wall Street Journal reported that businessman Graham Walker from Louisiana, USA, sold the company Fibrebond and granted all employees a total bonus of $240 million.

Prior to that, Walker said he would be willing to sell the company to an investor who agrees to allocate 15% of the proceeds for hiring new employees.

He mentioned that employees of Fibrebond didn't own any shares in the company and were not eligible for any payments, so this move was a gift from Walker.

The funds were distributed among 540 employees, with each receiving $443,000. The money will be paid out over five years, and the first installment arrived in July.
