Khaberni - Amman Chamber of Industry organized an introductory seminar on the Jordanian International Detergents Conference and Exhibition, Detex 2026, at the Jordan University of Science and Technology, within the chamber’s policy to strengthen the ties between the industrial and academic sectors, attended by the Dean of the Nano Technology Institute at the university, Professor Dr. Mohammad Ali Al-Amri, and a number of university professors and students.
The Head of Quality and Environment at the Amman Chamber of Industry / Head of the Awards Committee at the Detex 2026 conference, presented during the lecture, an introduction about the conference, which begins in May 2026, organized by the chamber, with participation from many in the industrial and scientific sectors and researchers, while the accompanying exhibition will feature 100 exhibitor companies from 40 countries.
Engineer Al-Smadi explained that organizing this conference is a continuation of the success achieved by the conference in its previous sessions, and within the chamber's efforts to support and develop the chemical and cosmetics industries sector, which is considered one of the most distinguished industrial sectors in Jordan.
Engineer Al-Smadi called on all university professors, master's students, and all researchers to apply for the Jordanian Applied Scientific Research competition in the detergents and personal care sector, where the chamber hopes through organizing this conference to transform Jordan into a regional center for the detergent industry, as well as highlight the quality and development witnessed by the Jordanian detergent industry.
At the end of the lecture, a discussion was held about the competition categories and how to apply for them.
