The spokesperson for the Ministry of Education, Mahmoud Hayasat, announced to Roya News that the ministry has completed all the necessary preparations for conducting the general secondary education certificate examination in its supplementary session, which will begin its first sessions next Saturday.
Hayasat confirmed that the ministry's staff, both centrally and in the field, worked with high professionalism to ensure the readiness of the halls and correction centers, with the selection of hall presidents and monitors who possess the experience to handle the students with a "paternal spirit" that ensures providing an appropriate exam environment.
The spokesperson clarified that the total number of students nominated to take the exam is 33,328 students.
In this context, the Media Authority sent an official letter to the Ministry of Education on December 23, 2025, requiring that no entities or educational platforms undertake field filming during the exam period without prior authorization from it.
The Authority indicated that its teams would verify these permits in the field to ensure the work proceeds according to the regulatory foundations.
On the psychological support front, Hayasat offered a series of tips to the students, urging them to remain calm, manage their time well, and read the questions carefully.
He also called on parents to play a positive role by providing a calm atmosphere away from pressure and comparisons, emphasizing that encouragement and kind words have a significant impact on the students' morale and performance.
