Khaberni - The specialized authorities in the Irbid Police Directorate arrested a group of individuals who stole 53 sheep from two sheep breeding locations in the Bani Kinana district according to Irbid Governor Radwan Al-Atoum.
Al-Atoum confirmed to the Jordanian News Agency (Petra) today, Tuesday, the recovery of the stolen sheep and their return to their owners, praising the efforts of the Irbid police in arresting the suspects.
He emphasized that the cooperation between the residents of the area and the security agencies is a decisive factor in combating crime, in addition to the importance of community awareness to avoid such incidents by reporting any suspicious activities.
He said that those arrested will be transferred to the public prosecutor immediately after completing the necessary legal procedures against them, stressing that the security agencies are vigilant in preventing anyone from assaulting citizens' properties, public order, goods and properties, and work to prevent crime before it occurs, as well as discovering and arresting its perpetrators and bringing them to justice.
