Gold prices dropped in the local market this Tuesday evening by 70 piasters per gram, after hitting a new record high in its morning pricing issued by the General Union of Goldsmiths and Jewelers Owners.
The 21 carat gold, the most demanded by Jordanians, reached a price of 89.80 dinar per gram for selling by goldsmiths, compared to 86.20 for the buying price.
The prices of gold in 24, 18, and 14 carats were respectively 102.3 dinar, 79.80 dinar, and 61 dinar.
