The technical staff of the national team U23, led by coach Omar Najeh, announced a list comprising 23 players in preparation for participating in the training camp in Qatar followed by the Asian Cup finals in Saudi Arabia.
The list includes: Abdul Rahman Suleiman, Murad Falloji, Salama Salman, Ali Hajbi, Mohammad Al-Shatti, Jaafar Samara, Arafat Al-Haj, Ahmad Ayman, Mohammad Taha, Ayham Alsammareh, Ahmed Al-Maghribi, Abdullah Al-Monays, Saleh Freej, Hashem Al-Mubaydin, Saif Suleiman, Youssef Qushie, Owda Al-Fakhouri, Mo'men Al-Saket, Mahmoud Dhaib, Ameen Al-Shannaina, Anas Al-Khub, Khaledoon Sabra, Baker Kallabouna.
The delegation of the national team will depart tomorrow morning, Wednesday, December 24, to Doha, where they will hold a training camp that includes friendly encounters with Japan and Uzbekistan, which are held behind closed doors, meaning the matches will not be televised and the stands will be closed to the public."
The national team will start their seventh historical participation in the tournament by facing Vietnam, followed by Saudi Arabia and concluding the group stage with a match against Kyrgyzstan.
According to the tournament system, the 16 participating teams are divided into four groups, with each group containing four teams. They compete in a single-round round-robin system, and the top two teams from each group advance to the knockout stages.
The Jordanian Federation aims through providing training camps and friendly matches for the national team U23 to achieve the highest levels of preparation and support, to move forward in the upcoming commitments, particularly the Asian Cup finals.
