Khaberni - The number of martyrs in the Gaza Strip has risen to 70,942, mostly children and women, since the start of the Israeli occupation aggression on October 7, 2023, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip.
The ministry clarified on Tuesday that the number of injuries has increased to 171,195 since the aggression began, while a number of victims remain under the rubble and cannot be reached by ambulance and rescue crews.
It noted that within the past 48 hours, 5 martyrs arrived at hospitals in Gaza Strip, including a new martyr, and 4 martyrs whose bodies were recovered, and 3 injuries, while the total number of martyrs and injuries since the ceasefire agreement on October 11 amounted to 406 martyrs, 1,118 injuries, and 653 bodies recovered.
It pointed out that the death of a Palestinian due to the collapse of a building was recorded, which brings the number of victims due to building collapses caused by the low pressure weather system to 16 cases.
