Khaberni - Media reports revealed surprising developments in the future of the veteran star Dani Alves, indicating his proximity to returning to the football world after a long absence.
According to the ESPN network, the 42-year-old Brazilian right-back and former Barcelona player, is putting the final touches on a deal to buy Sao Joao de Vier club, a third division team in Portugal, becoming its major shareholder.
Alves' plan does not stop at investment only, as he intends, once the deal is completed, to sign a six-month contract to return to the pitches, and participate in the final stage of the current season, in a surprising move that could bring one of the most decorated players back to the green field in the game's history.
The report indicated that Alves enjoys support from a group of Brazilian investors to achieve this project, while Sao Joao de Vier club occupies the ninth position in the league standings.
Alves has been away from football since January 2023, following his accusation and trial in a sexual assault case, before being acquitted in March of the same year, opening the door for the possibility of his return to the fields again.
