Japan intends to restart the world’s largest nuclear power station in the "Niigata" region.
According to the Japanese agency "Kyodo", Tokyo Electric Power Company is considering restarting the first out of seven reactors at the station on January 20th next year, if approved.
The "Kashiwazaki-Kariwa" station, located about 220 kilometers northwest of Tokyo, was among 54 reactors that were shut down after a massive earthquake and "tsunami" caused them to malfunction.
