Khaberni - Turkish police arrested a teacher after 19 students accused him of harassment.
The teacher (S.O) was arrested in Gizre area, belonging to Şırnak province, where he worked at a high school. The actions followed after students filed a complaint to the officials, leading a team from the regional security administration to arrest the teacher based on the instructions of the public prosecutor in Gizre. The police also conducted a search at the teacher's home, and seized digital materials transferred to security devices for examination.
After listening to the students' statements and a police investigation, the teacher was transferred to the judiciary, and the public prosecutor's office decided to refer him to the duty court with a request for his imprisonment, where the court issued a decision to jail him.
On the other hand, the National Education Directorate in Şırnak assigned an inspector to investigate the incident, while the public prosecutor's office in Gizre continues its legal investigations into the case.
