Khaberni - The highway patrols of the Public Security Directorate, yesterday, Sunday, in their various areas of jurisdiction, apprehended a number of dangerous violations on the roads, of which high speeds were the most notable.
Major Amer Al-Smadi from the operations room of the highway patrol management for the public security radio said that the specialized patrols apprehended two vehicles traveling at speeds significantly exceeding the set limits exceeding the set limits by a large margin.
He explained that the first vehicle apprehended was on the Zarqa-Blue road in Shuwaier area, where a vehicle was speeding at 180 km/h while the set speed limit for the road was 90 km/h.
Similarly, the patrols in the Duba area on the desert highway apprehended a vehicle traveling at 198 km/h, instead of from 90 km/ hour which is the set speed limit.
