Italian football star Alessandro Del Piero, and renowned French coach Arsène Wenger, lauded the performance of the national football team in the final match of the Arab Cup against the fraternal Moroccan team, noting that the NASHAMA team delivered an impressive level that highlighted the development of Jordanian football.
Former Jordanian football star and current national coach, Abdullah Abu Zame', stated that Del Piero and Wenger expressed admiration for the performance of the national team players during their attendance at the match in Lusail Stadium, highlighting that the team includes exceptional players and delivers good performances.
Abu Zame' mentioned in a statement to the Jordanian News Agency (Petra), "I met with the stars Del Piero and Wenger at the stadium while attending the match upon an invitation from FIFA, where I felt proud and honored as a Jordanian listening to the words of admiration from two global football legends who had their moments in the world's arenas."
He added, "The global stars praised the high spirit of the national team players and described it as the best final match in the history of cup tournaments, considering this praise as an indicator of the tangible progress in the performance of the national team, which also succeeded in achieving a historic qualification to the 2026 World Cup."
