Khaberni - Yuri Ushakov, the Russian president’s assistant, confirmed that the amendments sought by the European countries and Ukraine to be added to the American peace plan do not facilitate the settlement and the establishment of permanent peace.
The Russian president's assistant, Vladimir Putin, told reporters: "I am completely certain that the clauses proposed by the Europeans in coordination with the Ukrainians do not aid in achieving a long-lasting peace, but rather violate the fundamental principles that any settlement should be based upon, and lose the potential for reaching a stable solution."
Regarding the possibility of a trilateral meeting between representatives of the United States, Russia, and Ukraine, Ushakov clarified that such a meeting is "not currently under consideration," noting that "Moscow has not received any official initiatives in this regard."
He added that he personally has not yet seen the American documents related to the peace settlement plan, explaining: "We have received some signals through the media, but frankly, I have not seen any official documents so far."
