Khaberni - The Faculty of Medical Sciences at Middle East University organized a specialized scientific seminar titled: "Scientific and Legal Responsibilities in theDNA Labs ... Ethics of Handling Biological Samples".
The seminar, delivered by the member of Jordan’s Senate, Dr. Ghazi Al-Dhunibat, aimed to provide a specialized scientific opportunity for discussion and exchange of expertise, contributing to deepening the knowledge of participants and creating a positive and lasting knowledge impact in the field of research ethics and handling biological samples.
The seminar comes amidst rapid advancements in genetic analysis techniques and scientific research, imposing increasing ethical and legal responsibilities on academic institutions and health professionals, ensuring compliance with professional standards, protecting individual privacy, preserving human dignity, and directing this scientific progress to serve the community within a firm legal and ethical framework.
