Khaberni - In the framework of enhancing institutional partnerships and supporting sustainable economic development in local communities , the Center for Innovation and Creativity and Entrepreneurship in partnership with the College of Business at Arab Amman University, collaborated with Zaha Cultural Center/ Ghor Al-Safi, organized a training workshop titled: “Sustainable Tax Policies in the Jordanian Economic Modernization Vision” for the local community in Ghor Al-Safi area.
The workshop was presented by Dr. Alaa Al-Boat, a faculty member of the College of Business, where he discussed the concept of sustainable tax policies and their importance in achieving the objectives of the Jordanian economic modernization vision, their role in enhancing financial stability, stimulating investment, and supporting comprehensive economic growth, and he also addressed the challenges associated with tax policies, and mechanisms to develop them in alignment with the requirements of the upcoming phase to achieve justice and economic efficiency.
The workshop saw notable and positive interaction from the participants, who showed clear interest in the topics presented because of their direct importance in affecting their economic reality, and for the importance of enhancing awareness of fiscal and tax policies and their vital role in supporting productive projects and promoting entrepreneurship.
This workshop is part of the efforts of Arab Amman University in enhancing the social role and spreading economic knowledge, aligning with the orientations towards empowering local communities and building their capacities, through training and awareness programs that contribute to achieving sustainable development.
