The media personality Radwa El Sherbiny addressed an enigmatic message through her official accounts on social media, considered by many as an indirect reply to the statements of the artist Ahmed Elawady, supporting her close friend, the artist Yasmine Abdel Aziz.
Elawady had made controversial statements during a live session on his Facebook account, saying: «I am the highest-paid star in Egypt, the most watched and best-selling».
Hours later, El Sherbiny posted a message on her account on the platform «X», writing: «Anyone who talks about being the highest in name and pay, should also talk about who got him there, and acknowledge the favor and kindness of people who made him reach this point.. if he really is the highest at all.. Ultimately, everyone is raised differently.»
Ahmed Elawady responded to El Sherbiny, in press statements, saying: «All my respect and appreciation to you.. A blessing and kind woman», which prompted El Sherbiny to reply through her official accounts on social media platforms, writing: «When you're 40 years old and I am 44, and you call me an older blessed woman.. it definitely means you're implying a difference in stature.. If that's so, it's acceptable from you, my dear.»
