Social media sites in Egypt buzzed with a video documenting the reaction of an employee who was surprised by her manager with an iPhone 17, in appreciation for her achievements throughout the year.
The circulated video, posted by the company through its official accounts, shows the employee at work, then shocked by the entrance of her manager who places a box of an iPhone 17, asking her to open it, and telling her it's a simple gift since she achieved the highest sales in the company throughout the year, by a significant margin over all other employees.
However, the girl repeatedly refused to open the box and returned it to him multiple times, thinking it was just a joke, until she finally realized it was a real phone.
In their comment on the video, the company described this employee as their "unsung hero," adding: "To her goes the credit for a significant part of our successes this year.. Many thanks to her."
