The security forces arrested the former Egyptian player Ibrahim Said and his ex-wife Dalia Badr following a fight inside a hotel in New Cairo.
One of the famous hotels in the New Cairo area witnessed a violent altercation involving the former Egyptian national team player Ibrahim Said and his ex-wife Dalia Badr, ending with the intervention of the security forces who took both parties into custody.
The details of the incident go back to Dalia Badr learning about her ex-husband's presence at the hotel, where she went to the location and requested the presence of emergency forces and tourist police, asserting that she possessed an executable form of a final judgment issued against him, and demanded its immediate enforcement.
While they were inside the hotel, the situation escalated into a sharp dispute between the two parties, exchanging accusations of assault, while Ibrahim Said accused his ex-wife of forging the executable form of the judgment she presented.
The security forces and tourist police intervened immediately, where Ibrahim Said and his ex-wife were taken into custody and led to the Fifth Settlement police station to take the necessary legal actions.
In a related context, the security forces arrested Dalia Badr’s lawyer, after accusing him of fighting with Ibrahim Said and supporting his client during the incident, according to local media.
All parties were detained inside the police station, to be presented to the public prosecutor's office, which will oversee the investigation and determine the legal position of each party according to the findings of the investigation.
