The BehindtheScenes of Mohamed Salahs Apology to Liverpool Players

Khaberni - Liverpool midfielder, Curtis Jones, reveals details about what happened inside the team's dressing room, following the major controversy sparked by Mohamed Salah.

The British newspaper The Sun reported from Jones that the Egyptian star took the initiative to apologize to his teammates after his fiery statements in which he attacked unspecified individuals from Liverpool and coach Arne Slot.

The step came in an attempt to contain the situation and restore calm to the team atmosphere, after a period that witnessed unusual tension within the corridors of Anfield.

Salah had caused a storm of controversy after a 3-3 draw against Leeds, in a match where he remained on the substitutes' bench for the third consecutive time, before making strong statements accusing the club's management of "throwing him under the bus," noting that he had no relationship with coach Arne Slot, sentiments that were considered an unprecedented escalation by one of the team's most prominent stars in recent years.

Jones clarified: "Mohamed Salah spoke to his teammates before traveling to join the Egypt national team in preparation for the African Nations Cup, presenting a brief but clear apology of 14 words, saying he was sorry if his words had affected anyone inside the team or caused them any harm.

Jones added that the atmosphere accompanying this apology was positive, and that the players handled the matter calmly and understandingly.

The young midfielder confirmed that Salah was as usual within the team, smiling and engaging, with no tension or estrangement from other players, pointing out that what happened reflects the mentality of a player who always wants to compete and win, even if his feelings are not always conveyed in the ideal way.

Jones considered that anger within the team often stems from a desire to succeed, and not with the intention of harming the group or the technical staff.

At the same time, Jones emphasized that the real problem occurs when a player accepts sitting on the substitutes' bench without a desire to fight for their place, which does not apply to Salah, known for his high ambition and determination to make an impact on the field, pointing out that the team has moved past this phase, and harmony has returned as evidenced by improved results and performance in recent matches.
