The Kuwaiti Criminal Court sentenced a known fashionista to seven years in prison with labor and execution, after convicting her in a case involving drug use and incitement to debauchery and immorality, in addition to misusing communication tools.
According to the details of the case, the public prosecutor charged the accused with several offenses, the most notable being the publishing of clips and pictures described as violating public morals via the application "Snapchat", and using the phone to promote content inconsistent with community values, in addition to engaging in indecent activities inside her residence for financial gains.
The court confirmed in its verdict the evidence presented against the accused, considering the acts attributed to her as crimes punishable by law for what they represent in terms of harm to public morals and damage to society, in addition to the danger of drug use and its resulting negative effects.
