The national team's technical director, Jamal Al-Salami, confirmed that he has a football project in Jordan, saying: "I have a project in Jordan and when I feel that the project has been accomplished, I will request to leave".
Al-Salami stated that goalkeeper Yazid Abu Layla is an important player and a leader who has played a major role in the team and that neither he nor any other players can be blamed for mistakes made in the match against Morocco, adding that "the players performed better than expected..".
He confirmed that Abu Layla played a key role in the team reaching the final.
