Khaberni - The Australian police announced today, Thursday, the interception of two vehicles in Sydney, after receiving a report indicating a potential plan for a violent act.
The New South Wales police stated in a release that "no connection has yet been found between the incident and the ongoing investigation into the Bondi terrorist attack," which resulted in the death of 15 people who were gathered on the beach to celebrate the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah.
The police intercepted the vehicles as they passed through Liverpool, a southwestern suburb of Sydney.

The security authorities announced in a statement that the operation has concluded, and there is no threat to the community.
Two men, a father who died in the attack, and his 24-year-old son, are accused of killing 15 people and injuring dozens in an anti-Semitic attack on Bondi Beach in Sydney last Sunday, in the worst mass shooting incident in Australia for decades.
