Khaberni - Prime Minister Jafar Hassan said that discussing the General Budget Law for the fiscal year 2026 early, and before the end of the current year, will enable the government to begin implementing the capital projects listed in the budget as quickly as possible.
Hassan added during a Senate session held on Thursday to discuss the General Budget Law for 2026, that this step reflects a governmental approach aimed at increasing the efficiency of implementation and accelerating the economic impact of the projects, especially those of priority.
Hassan confirmed the government's commitment through the 2026 budget to the financial and economic path that it started since its formation, by controlling expenses and enhancing capital expenditure supportive of growth, in addition to launching the executive program for the economic modernization vision for the coming years during the upcoming period.
Hassan emphasized that the government is continuing to stimulate economic growth and encourage investment, contributing to enhancing financial stability, supporting economic activity, and achieving sustainable development.
