Khaberni - The CEO of Royal Jordanian, Samer Al-Majali, revealed an increase in the number of flights to Doha by 8 extra flights at reduced prices in support of the national soccer team, which will face its Moroccan counterpart on Thursday in the final of the Arab Cup.
Al-Majali added that Royal Jordanian doubled the number of flights to Doha and at reduced prices (200 JD for round trip) to facilitate travel for fans and support the national team.
He explained that 3 additional flights will depart to Doha on Wednesday, in addition to 2 regular daily flights.
He pointed out that 5 additional planes will depart on Thursday, making a total of 7 Royal Jordanian planes traveling to Doha, indicating that the capacity of the aircraft ranges between 100 and 200 passengers.
The President of the Association of Travel and Tourism Agents, Mahmoud Al-Khasawneh, said that the demand for travel to Doha has significantly increased after the national team qualified for the final of the Arab Cup held in the Qatari capital.
Al-Khasawneh added to "Al-Khaberni" that the movement of the national team's fans increased the demand for flights, noting the difficulty in estimating the current size of trips and the number of fans, especially since some have been staying since the quarterfinal match and others since the semifinal match.
The national soccer team qualified for the final of the FIFA Arab Cup 2025 held in Doha, to face the Moroccan team on Thursday at 7 PM Jordan time.
