Khaberni - The Director of Education for the Tafilah region, Imran Lassasem, in coordination with the Governor of Tafilah, Sultan Al-Madi, decided to delay the students' school hours to 10 AM on Wednesday due to prevalent weather conditions, and to ensure the safety of students and administrative and educational bodies. The Directorate of Education indicated that it would continue to monitor the rainy weather conditions regularly.
The Meteorological Department stated that the weather will be foggy, cold and partly cloudy to cloudy at times in most parts of the kingdom on Wednesday.
It is expected that showers of heavy rain at times will occur in the morning in the southern regions and the city of Aqaba, cautioning the possibility of flash floods and rising water levels in valleys and low-lying areas.
The Meteorological Department also anticipated showers mixed with snow on Wednesday morning on the high southern mountain peaks for short and rapid periods.
