Khaberni - His Majesty King Abdullah II's meeting with U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem today, Tuesday, focused on ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries.
His Majesty emphasized, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince, the importance of building on the strategic partnership between Jordan and the United States in a way that serves mutual interests and achieves stability in the region.
His Majesty also stressed the importance of Jordan joining the Global Entry program, which aims to expedite the processing of entry procedures for travelers participating in the program who hold entry visas or permanent residencies to the United States, noting that this reflects the depth of Jordanian-American relations.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi, King's Office Director Engineer Alaa Batayneh, Minister of Interior Mazen Al-Faraya, Jordan's Ambassador to Washington Dina Kawar, U.S. Ambassador to Jordan James Holtsnider, and the accompanying delegation of the visitor.
