Khaberni - The famous British singer Rod Stewart suddenly stopped his musical concert and got upset with one of the fans, directing a barrage of insults at him, after accusing him of spoiling the atmosphere of the show in front of the audience.
According to a circulating video, the incident occurred during Stewart's concert at the OAKA sports hall in Athens, Greece, where the star, aged 80, was wearing a formal suit and holding a soccer ball, while his band was playing music from one of his famous songs.
Stewart was seen waving his hands nervously at the front of the stage, before yelling into the microphone directing many insults at one of the fans, adding, "Get out of the way, damn you.. You are ruining the show for everyone.. Get out, leave.. We don’t need you here."
After a few moments, the British star tried to regain his composure, turning to his band and saying, "Okay, let's start again.. From where we stopped," to resume the concert amidst the audience’s interaction.
On social media, users speculated that Stewart's outburst might have been related to his mood possibly affected by his favorite team Celtic losing to St. Mirren with a score of 3-1 in the Scottish League Cup final.
This incident comes in a year described as "full of fluctuations" in Stewart’s career, as he delivered a successful and notable performance as part of the Legends slot at the Glastonbury Festival during the previous June, but he had to cancel several concerts due to health issues.
